After 3 days in Cebu, we took a plane to Siargao. Siargao is a smaller island known for its surfing. In Siargao, we did early surfing lessons multiple days, which was a highlight. Surfing was easier than I thought it would be, and there were lots of waves to catch. Near the beach was a smoothie shop, which served amazing smoothies. We got our lessons from Happy Islanders Surf Club. The people there were super friendly and nice. In addition to surfing, we also did some other sings. We did a three island tour, which takes you on a boat between 3 beautiful white sand islands. On the last island we got a feast that you eat with your hands. We also went to Sugba Lagoon, where you can swim, paddle board, and jump from the diving board. And we went to a cold spring, where you can kayak or relax in the cool water. Overall, in Siargao the food was very good, and our hotels were very nice. We especially enjoyed Punta Punta Surf Resort, where there was a dog named Poogie always lingering by our villa.
